Guitar Anatomy - Parts of the Guitar
It is important to learn the names (and functions) of all the different parts of a guitar. The diagram and breakdown below show everything you need to know!
Tuners – The things that you turn to change the pitch of the strings.
Nut – A bone or plastic piece that that the strings pass over towards the tuners.
Bridge – Supports the strings and allows vibration to create sound in the body
Frets – The spaces in between the fretwires where we place our fingers
Fret Markers – The dots that help us quickly identify particular frets.
